We decided to make a hunt as a few boar hogs were hitting our buddy Evans feeder. Marshall Mims and I met Marshall Willey, Broussard, Evan, and Tator just outside of Huntsville at daylight. We hit the first feeder and the dogs left out making their rounds.. Lil Marshall had his kemmers working hard trying to line something out, they are some hard hunting young dogs. He was working the dogs around a pond when Broussard and I headed towards another feeder. We had my 3 dogs with us and a pup each from Marshall and Tator following. Briar went up a couple hundred yards and opened up past the feeder, 700 yards later my 3 and Marshall's 5 month old kemmer were hammering bayed. We got in to them and was able to get some ok video. The dogs were baying pretty loose but started tightening up as more and more of M's other dogs trickled in.. The kemmers bay tight and have been stretching out boar hogs all summer, so me and B knew it was about to happen.. My yellow dog Drake finally figured he had enough help, so he slipped in and grabbed the ear and the rodeo was on lol I love when the cur dogs catch a decent lil boar. I got him legged and B got him flipped and tied.. Great hunt for all the young dogs, it'd beyond dry here and it's amazing they can smell anything in that powder. Normally I carry an extra set of clothes for water adventures, now I carry an extra set bc I'm soaking wet from the sweat of 2 hr hunt.. Enjoy!! video brousard.. Marshalls Chico is in the back ground lol he's started biting people he's so upset, he hasn't got to catch a hog in months as the kemmers and M's other dogs usually catch everything briar, drake, lexi and redMan
