Just look at your males. If she is in heat the males are easier to spot Wink That is how I know when a female is coming in. My males go crazy and annoy me. I see they are ready for action so I start lifting tails to see which females are coming into heat. I did have a gyp have her first heat and stayed in heat over a month so we went to the vet and got some med to end it. But she was still bleeding. She has normal heat cycles now. But they can have hormone issues.

Good rule of thumb 7 days coming in, 7 days in (standing), 7 days going out she can be breed during any of these stages.

7 days coming in, next 7 is when she can be bred, last 7 coming out of heat.

The gyp might constantly produce pheromones that make the males think she is in heat all the time. We had a bear hound growing up that had this and it was a pain in the butt, we had the gyp fixed and the problem was solved.

Put bucks save all around her vulva and the males may not be able to smell. More bucks the better..
