A buddy that I gave a pup to called and said he had a couple small shoats in their trap so I took all my pups out their to let them get some exposure. They ended up running down and catching a shoat that we were trying to tie but got away from us. All these pups are out of my Zig dog! The brindle ones are 3/4/ Plott 1/4 BMC ZigXSoka and the Red ones are 3/4 BMC 1/4 Plott ZigXSalty. They are 4 1/2 to 5 months old and this is their first time to ever see a hog. Honestly I really wasnt expecting much but they turned right on and did real good. Video Link http://s1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd520/blakebh247/?action=view¤t=IMG_0213.mp4

Nice Blake! Hope they all turn out for you. You sure got your hands full for a while.
Did you ever start feeding the hog meat?

I sure can't wait to add the blood of Soka/Zig into my cross. I will be cutting the plot down to a 1/8. Blake i had my pup on hog yesterday and she was trying to catch with another 9 month old pup. The hog was about 60 pounds. She is already a keeper for me.

No she is a friend of Phillips dog that he currently has and been hunting her! She is a really nice female thats around 4 years old I think. I will have to ask Phillip to make sure.

I hope that means good things for the future.
