got a report from  MAV  last night that a freind of ours had a dog die from pseudorabies . came in contact with it in central texas . more info later after i call and get it first hand  .

haven't been able to get ahold of the man . off deer huntin i guess but he lives off down south of itasca tx. hunts alll over that country around clebern and such

don't know exact location . psuedorabies only becomes a problem to dogs when the hogs are stressed and are shedding the virus . the hog looked healthy according to my friend . but as a rule it's everywhere just one of those things that you never expect to happen . thats why it's not a good idea to buy and transport pigs all over the state to bay with . just be carefull out thar, there is no cure and the dogs that get infected will die in about 48 hrs . good luck is all we can hope for .

you talking about hackler? I heard one of his dogs died of pseudos from a pig they caught at the retreat.
