I am just letting everyone know the facts. The A/C went out and we called for service at 1:00 PM Friday and it was sent to Housepro that I called at 4:30 PM Friday because I had not been called sitting in the heat. I was told they would be here Saturday between Noon and 5:00 PM. It is now almost 7:30 PM I have called Housepro three times and American Home Sheild has called them twice and sent an email to Housepro. They have not even called. I have been sitting here all day just waiting. I need to be up in Magnolia moving stuff out of the way of the fire. I am so mad I could spit. I would really like to get a phone call or something. I guess this is how they treat customers. I will also be contacting the BBB. I hope they like this post

Hell no the tube that runs the freon If they ever show up they are going to make a few bucks. All the freon ran out. They will have to fix the leak, vacuum it, and fill it. The scary part is one of them pulled the cover off of the house and the the wire nut off the main power line. A dog could have been killed. It shorted on the metal box and tripped the breaker. My wife called me brecause she heard a loud pop and hissing. I reconnected the wires and reset the breaker. But after a few minutes the tubing was still hot and I knew the hissing sound was the freon running out. I don't think a unicorn did. I think it was a crazy catahoula pup. That dog is either going to be the most jam up hog dog or a cull. I am going to have to build a fence to keep the dogs away from that whole side of the house.

Not a clue. I am no a/c tech. I can find wires but the insides I don't know.

r22 is going to be cheaper. if its a older unit that is probably what it has. 410a is the new freon they are using now. my brother has a a/c company and is charging $24 for r22 and i think its $32 for 410a. every unit holds a different amount of freon so it can get expensive fast. hopefully they can get it fixed quick and stay easy on your wallet.

I just wish they could have called. I bet they scheduled me for Monday and the stupid girl on the phone told me Saturday. I have my truck sitting there with the old engine out and a new engine ready to go in. Saturday was a cool 93 degrees and I could have my engine in and could get it out of the way of the fire. But I was sitting here all day because nobody would even return my call. It will be over 100 degrees every day the rest of the week. If my truck gets caught in the fire I will see them in court.
All because nobody could even call!!!!

Dang hate to hear that. I had to put a fence around mine because of that very same thing.

(*&&^% &(*^%%$
They told me the tech called and came by. I told her I was here and nobody called or came by. The $!&% bimbot told me they had gps on the truck!!!!! I told her good you need to go check it!!!!! She flat out called me a liar!!!! I was sitting here worried about my truck burning and dogs and everything else. I sat here sweating and going crazy all day Saturday. It turns out they called the wrong number so I bet he just did not even bother to come by.
I called them three times Saturday and American Home Sheild called twice and sent an email. Homepro did not call anybody back. Then that bimbot called me a liar!!!!!!!
