There have been several posts of Thanks already for the TDHA Contest, but I don't think we can say it enough. THANKS TO EVERYONE who competed, donated, hauled, tracked down, set up equipment/materials, tagged, inspected, weighed, skinned, boned, iced, announced, tallied results, phoned sponsors, called volunteers, and generally stepped up to the plate. I'm sure I missed something which is exactly the reason for this post... TO THANK ALL those who were behind the scenes putting on this contest and expo for all to enjoy. I am honored to have gotten aquainted with many of you and look forward to next year already.
Below are a few of the unsung heroes, but if your name is not listed or your face not shown, please know that your contribution was still appreciated by all and I am simply absent minded.
Special thanks to Jordan Faust for working his tail off, leaving for duties at home, and then coming back to help clean up afterwards. Special thanks also to all the Hunter's Harvest Crew, without them, we'd still be deboning pork.
I'd like to also thank my new skinning partner Ben. Cody and JoLynne have a fine young man there. He worked his socks off all day long.
All the young folks associated with the Rohan Family... I've never met a better bunch of young people. (The girls all skin hogs with the guys...I love it!!!)
Lance, I've only got a picture with your elbow in it, but you were non stop all day too.
Mandy, you're quite the skinner. Thanks for gettin in the thick of it.
Ya'll make me PROUD to be a small spoke in the big wheel that is the TDHA.
