I have a question I bought a dog from a guy near corpus a few years ago he said he was a red cur he had been nuetered he's red with a black mask great dog not long range until in sign or smells hogs then he's gone as far as it takes just wondering the guy I got him from # is not any good anymore would love to get somemore of that bloodline . Is that what they call Alabama reds or not just wondering.

Who was the guy, did he live by Mathis on I37?? Might have been Billy don Blevins, he had one of the best red black mouth curs ever, was from Seadrift then married and moved down here close but think he hurt his back and quit dogs, hardest hunter on hog i ever saw, sometimes hunted 30 days in a row catching hogs all up and down the Gulf coast when there were not hogs??

I gota a bitch that is red with a black muzzle that does the same thing. She wont venture to far out till she smells a track n then gone. Huntd her 1 day n she would b bout 50-75yds out n then, poof, gone. Bout 5min later she had 1 bayed up. I got her from a guy in south la, n she is outa howard carnathans stock.

Im not good with names i met him south of dallas he worked offshore i kept his # talked to him often then phone # wasnt any good anymore sure wish i could find somemore of that bloodline i think his cousin bred and raised alot of the dogs.
