Pigrig from NZ asked a question about rednecks and I wanted some input on the subject.I am one myself but have seen some people that make me look like a city slicker.I live in the very southeast part of TX ,close to the lakes and many doggers here so you see some things that really shows just how redneck a person is.Here are a couple of examples that I see all the time,a guy pulling a 50,000 dollar bass boat with a 500 dollar truck or a guy pulling a 10,000 Mule with a truck held together with bailing wire. This is a sad one but I did know a guy thats  hunting dogs were in better shape than his kids and probably better fed, that one made me mad!!!!

Redneck garbage disposal,  bluetick hound sticks head thru the hole in the trailer floor when its dinner time waiting on food scraps from the table, I swear to god, went hunting with this guy from east texas and about jumped out of my pants when the bluetick let loose under the table barking for scraps, he had chewed a hole in the wood and rug and my pard just left it like that and tossed scraps down there, he would stomp his feet to make the blue bawl and scare guests who were not in on the joke!!

I ain't no redneck cause I aint white but they say I look white cause I am a red headed mexican. but half of my house is in a hole on the side of a hill and the other half is made of rough cut pallet oak boards and I quit selling my body when I found out I could make more money studdin out ole blue...

but I do know most everybody in Liverpool is rednecks cause they all live in trailer homes and they do have a local beer joint or two with a few pool tables and teenagers can buy and drink beer there too....reminds me of back home when I was growing up...my kinda town... Cool Smiley

This is a sad one but I did know a guy thats  hunting dogs were in better shape than his kids and probably better fed, that one made me mad!!!!

I just read where 1 in 5 kids in the US are not getting enough to eat on a daily basis, and I assume that other children might get enough to eat but are malnourished due to the poor quality of food they must consume because of the higher price of the better quality foods which their parents can not afford for whatever reason.

just a bad situation for America. They were also saying that some of these kids skulls would be smaller than normal because of the mal nourishment, also the ability to learn on an empty stomach suffers because it is hard to concentrate and stay focused when hungry...these are the kids that will be running our country someday and we should make sure they are getting the right nutrition as children some way some how...

heck , my wife volunteers at an elementary school where 5 or 6 kids have fractured bones from playing in the play ground all because the school system has stream lined to cut expenses and they cut way back on the mulch and river sand that they used for cushioning on the hard ground at the play ground and this has probably been the reason or at least part of the reason for the fractures...
