I met up with Mr. Mason and a couple other guys this morning to make a pass in Cypress, Texas.  (Thank you Doug, Randy, Kurt)

The first bay took place about 30 minutes out, where we caught a nice boar, around 120#.

About 30 minutes later, we bayed another big boar with good cutters, weighing around 220.

Hauled them to the trailer, and set out again.

Bay #3 was another big boar with good cutters, around 220#.

Back to the truck again to unload, take a short break for a snack and rest the dogs.  Then we decided to make one more pass...

#4 was a big sow, in the 220 range as well.

It was wet and sloppy, but with the use of a Kawasaki Mule and a horse, it was pretty easy going!  Beats the heck outta a bunch of walkin' and draggin'!

True, unfortunately we didn't catch any in that open country...they were all in thick brush and heavy briars!  Grin

They were all taken out alive, and none of em' made it to my backyard.  :-)  You'll have to ask them other fellers.

Well, seeing how it's still deer season and we've been thinning these hogs out over here... I can't tell you? :'(

But, get with me in a couple weeks after deer season is closed and we'll get serious! :Smiley

Grunter,
Kp can't tell time must less weight, I bet one of them wouldn't have went over 214 1/2 pound.  But they are all alive and the buyer will weigh them and we'll know for sure.
We caught 5 in all but left one for seed.

Mike don't take no pitty on KP, he's a good goffer.  And got to holding dogs good.
