Anyone have recomendations on a cheaper water resistant camera to carry and use outdoors and hunting? Wife won't let me use her fancy camera and would like to start getting some pictures. Would like to keep under $100.-.  Thanks

i use the kodak easy share sport, waterprooof, shockproof and dust proof, cant beat it. 60 bucks at walmart. takes real good pics. i was skeptical of it when i bought it but the quality of the pics are great. a boar kicked my other one out of my hand and broke it. i have swam the river with this one, dropped it in the mud and it still works like a charm.

gotta get the waterproof one. Its by far the stoutest camera I have had, really nice that you can get the lens full of dirt and stick it in some water and shake it around and its ready to shoot again.
Here is a link.

For $300 you can get a GoPro  (Sun & Ski).  They are water proof and can be helmet mounted.  They take video or time lapsed photos.

I ran the New York marathon last month and someone wore one and took time lapsed photos.  Wow!  It condensed a 4 hour marathon into 8 mins of photos.  It basically shows what the wearer would see.

I have a small olympus that takes great pics and is completely water proof, can take underwater photos with it even.
