LSWDA is in the home stretch of a photo competition that we have been conducting since February 1, 2011. The final date to submit pictures was September 30, 2011 and LSWDA rec'd 168 outstanding entries!!! Judging has begun and 12 winners will be announced November 1, 2011. These winners and their photos are the cornerstone of a 2012 LSWDA Working Dog Calendar that will be available for purchase by December 15, 2011. So wait to purchase your new calendars for the 2012 year!! These are going to make AWESOME stocking stuffers for working dog people and hunters. The calendar will portray dogs working cattle to treeing.
Since LSWDA had an outpouring of hog doggin' pictures in this contest, we have decided to put together a 2012 LSWDA Hog Doggin Calendar as well. This calendar is not included in the competition but we felt that with the number of excellent photos we rec'd from the hog hunters an extra calendar could be put together.
