one of my dogs got a poke in the bottom of chest he is pumping when he moves not sure if its lung or cavity air got him on liynkmyicen<speliing?>. it very strong anti. been a week he looks bad,very bad. Ive had lots of them cut, poked,you know what happens.Not much a vet can do on this one or i would spend some money on him. any body out there had one hit in the lungs and come out of it fully able. let me hear it i like this dog he will go deep and stay hooked. but he looks bad bad.oh i forgot the hog had 2.5 teeth and tall whets so its deep.

Not much a vet can do on this one or i would spend some money on him.
Did a vet tell you that or are you just thinking it?? If the dog isnt getting better, my advice would be to get him to a vet or put him down... no sense in making him suffer..  |

If he is a good dog I would take him to the vet asap...forgot what it is called but it is possible he has the condition where the air gets trapped between the rib cage and lungs and does not allow the dog to breath because this trapped air is keeping the lungs from expanding/functioning...

You say you would spend money to fix this dog, so why are you asking questions on the forum?? If he is in need of medical attention then go to a vet!! Not meaning to be rude but by the time you get a "guess" from someone here it may be to late. Good Luck.

Id take him to the vet. I keep bandages in my go kit for sucking chest wounds. I for the life of me cant remember the name of the dressings.

i new it was to late when i carried him out of the woods allready talked to vet he fixed another dog from the same hog. i was trying to be tactfull in my wording didnt work just wanted to know if any one had one heal from such a wound im going to put him down dont think for a minute im a newbe or one those people that want brag about cut up dogs its cavity pump justwant some opions on results from healing becuase he will with banamine and antibiotics. if it takes six months before he can hunt thats ok for me if some other people have had dogs of this type of wound recover at 50% thats not fair to him he sit on a chain that is why i asked. ive seen people spend 5k on a dog for cancer treatment to extend their life 8 months thats what pays for the clinics. so please dont jump on me. thankyou

Nobody is jumping on ya.. Just offerng their advice.. believe me, as the recipiant of a few jumping ons, i can tell ya... If or when the time comes... Youll know it..lol And sorry about the dog... post up a thread about him. how he hunted, pics etc so we can get to know about him.
