Earlier this year we got hold of some sour mash from a moonshiner......stunk to high heaven,....put it out at the wallow and hogs came to it 3 times during the daylight first day it was out. Got 'em on  trail cam....never seen anything like it for hog bait.

That sour mash idea is good but, how hard would it be to get ahold of some?

Put 100lbs of corn in a plastic 55gal barrel, put 10lbs of sugar, a pack or 2 of yeast n cover the corn just above the corn with water n let it sit a wk or so since it aint super hot out. Dont seal the barrel or the gas from fermintation will cause the lid to pop off of split the barrel in a weak spot

Thats how I do it, I use a drum with a screw on lid, but keep it loose so it can burp. Will keep for a long time.
