Bad day out there today...first trip out with the garmin and i should have known better than to trust that damn belt clip that came with it.  After looking for 3 hrs with no luck, decided to head to the truck...well the dogs finally jumped one and got gone quick!  Sounded like they had it stopped a couple times but couldnt hold it (dogs are just getting started).  Got out of hearing distance, so i waited and called for bout an hour.  Walked back to the truck to meet up with a buddy who was good enough to come out after work with his garmin.  Good thing i remembered my collar id #'s.  Was able to get a location on the dogs and go get 'em.  Atleast i got my dogs and collars.  Now gotta go back in the morning and try to find my damn garmin...

Same thing happened to me - I knew the  general area I lost it at, ended up using collars to find it by shutting it them off to get the unit to beep for lost communication. Found it a few hours later

She has been out there awhile and is a wild one!  Wink
[/quote] Yeah after running around and having to get my dad to bring me my truck so I could load the dogs up. That cow still followed us down the road for quite awhile

That guy that has the campground across from it must make a fortune. He charges an arm and a leg to camp there. But we've always done good at Toso. The 1st and only time me and my buddies tried to hunt seminole ranch we didn't come across anything except for a pissed off Brahma cow that looked like some dogs got a hold of her before we got there and all she wanted to do was kill me and my dogs lol
Your old man said you walked his ass off Saturday at mallory. Grin George is going to be at Tosohatchee on that Feb. hunt and has plenty of permits for everyone. Send me a pic of Charlie's red dog
Don't let my dad fool you, you know how he likes to stretch the truth. I don't have a pic of that redbone. But it's not real big, about the size of what Tess was. Maybe 50lbs-60lbs. They said it really didn't have any interest in the hogs in the pen
