1/4 dane 1/4 pit 1/2 campbell cur which is basically a pointer/pit cross with some cur. Mine are 1 year old . The dane gives a nice build and legs. They weigh 50-60 lbs. I had 5 pups. Gave 2 to a fellow I know and kept the other 3 that I liked most. Trying to find an EP to breed to my dane/pit.

go to the pit  first   get sizable  athletic  catch dog then  take your best female or male and  breed them to a finder that is rough as al get out   if thats what ur wanting kinda like buddylee is doing... breed her to a bay dog chances are you  will get  some 100 plus pound bay dogs   a pitxdane  crossed over a cur will throw more catching dogs then a dane crossed over a curr

The two pups I gave away are supposed to be doing very good. Regularly getting out 800 yards and under a year old. All hunt, no playing around and VERY ROUGH. The guy also stated they have very good endurance.  The female I breed to hasn't been hunted much but is a really well bred dog from dogs that go far and hunt hard. Make sure you bred to a really good rangy cur . Keep the whole litter and keep the best.

Maybe you do need  sights  Wink. It doesn't take 15 years if you know what your doing and have the right dogs assembled. I've been thinking this over for several years. Made one cross so far. Their doing better than a lot of dogs out there. Now I looking for the next dog in my breeding program. When I find the right one, I'll put my dane/pit male over her. I'd bet money they'll be machines also.
