Order the Toughskin replacement antennas from Conkey's Hound Supply. They are $12 each. For some reason, the stock antennas gradually loose range. The toughskins should help you.  Wink

If they're still under warranty, call Garmin and get them to send you a replacement antenna. Then go buy some from Conkey's as stated and put them on your collars.....should take care of the problem, then when the replacements from Garmin arrive, stash them for use as a backup in case something happens to the tuff skins from Conkeys.

Many people tend to not update there collars and astro handheld which can cause loss communication and loss signal range.. You can refer to www.garmin.com faq's and they will guide u throught the steps of how to update the software on your dc collars and handheld also.  I also run the tuff skin long range antennas and that help a great deal too. Hope i was a little help   Smiley

Thinking about the electrical grease I read in another topic...this won't damage the collar unit will it?
