I am looking to get a few plott or plott x cur dogs to hunt hogs with but where I live there are a few hogs but coyotes are way more plentiful. Would it be possible to train plott hounds to run coyotes as well as hogs? Any and all opinions are welcome.

they will run both just fine . just when you turn out no tellin what you are runnin till you see the critter or the tracks . around here the yotes pretty much follow the pigs to try and pick up young ones .
