This past week I been I the hospital from a grade 3 cut to my spleen that caused a lot of internal bleeding  , from a injury at the rig, my question is has anyone else felt with this type of injury if so is there anyway to heel faster . Dr said our for 6 weeks no kinda running lifting ( doggin) nothing at all . And I'm not sur I can go that long not doing nothing ( hunting ) Grin . I think I'm gonna go crazy so if anyone can help with any way to to get better faster I'll listen. ThankS

Docs don't know what there talkin bout I tore my acl and mcl and doc said that was out for the rest of football season and I wouldn't be able to powerlift. Think that stopped me? He!! no lol went to the fourth round in football and woulda gone to state for powerliftin but they dq me at regional for droppin the f bomb lol. Anyhow just start doggin when you get around good nuff to do so I just wouldn't try flippin nothin

"I just wouldn't try flippin nothin" X2 an dont get hit! go hunting just dont strain your self...take some young guys with you to do the lifting an flipping..if you try to do to much then it just sets you back even further...just what my mama always said an she's an R.N.

I don't know about that kind of ingury, but when the doc says to do something most of the time, if its serious, u'll regret it if something goes wrong. I was just laid up for about 2 months, so I feel your pain! Just take it easy... and you'll figure out your own pace. Good luck with all that!

yes sir listen to your doctor they know best . and if you want them to go in and remove your spline well just go on out and hunt and do whatever you want . huntins fun but not worth loosing a spline over .

hey man listen to the dr. i know its hard to do some times . i got thrown from a horse 2years ago,while hoggin thought no big deal went to work business as usual just had a headache few days later was in sanangelo having brain surgery to stop some bleeding. after surgery dr. said no lifting of any kind thought ya right. first thing i did when i could get out side was start taking care of my stock.realized mabe dr. mite be right, had to take it slower and lighter loads. take it easy listen to the dr. but dont stop doing things
