but first...when I was a little kid our neighbor down the road bought 3 40 or so pound duroc piglets...2 were dark red, shiny and healthy looking and the runt had a dull yellowish coat...he was about 30 pounds...well the hog pen had a small hole in it and runt could get out anytime he wanted...well a few months went by and I was over at the neighbors and I saw 2 50 or 60 pounds pigs and a 80 or 90 pounder. and the larger pig was a deep shiny red color...I asked my friend where did that pig come from and he said it was the runt...Well it turns out the runt learned to go over the fence as he came and went...he used to jump in at feeding time and then jump out and go to the corn fields, maize fields and rice fields...just whatever he wanted...Well that sucker would come in our fields and I siced my dogs on him and they would tear a new one on him...when they butchered him he was about 350 and his brothers were about 150 each...talking about weight...

now getting to the dog issue I had...I put up a super nice mtn cur pup for adoption because his feet were splayed...Well, I wormrd him as I have always wormed my pups and also fed him the same feed as always...this pup had the thick wrists and forearms that I like on a dog...Well a friend of mine took this pup because his dad wanted to hog hunt and I told him this pup would find hogs and it would probably work if hunted alone because he surely would not keep up with a hog with those feet...now, I have had pups that there wrist would go out on them but a little vitamin d would correct it...

long story short they took the pup to a vet and the first thing the vet did was worm the pup...he was wormy so i need to change wormers for a while...then the vet said that his feet were splayed because he was on the wrong dog food and they switched the pup to another brand...The pup is 5.5 months old and baying his behind off and his feet are just fine now...what gets me is that his 2 brothers were wormed and fed the same but the other 2 were just fine feet wise...

When I find out which dog food they swapped to I will repost...If he can send the video I will post it...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
