Cody and I Met up with Wyatt Walton and his buddy Jake who had never been hunting before and headed out to a spot on a spot on the creek that has been real good to us. We dropped Wyatts rope and pepper along with Tiger, and pups penny and cub at about 7:15 and started tossing our way along the creek..about 20 min into the hunt tiger jumped to 300 quick and started hammering away...all the dogs got there quick and had him himmed up pretty good  so we tried to lead the catchdogs tyson and brute inn close and get some video but the hog broke when we got to 200 And the race was on.
We ended driving as far as we could and then having to cross the creek on foot. They ended up getting him bayed up solid for about 45 min in a huge briar thicket  about a mile and a half from where tiger first struck. We sent catchdogs from 100 out to seal the deal but the hog broke again. About 5 min later tiger started hammering away again about 200 out and the grunting. We got there to find brute had got there and caught in some nasty stuff. we had to crawl in and wyatt stuck this 185-190lbs boar. Cody ended up finding tyson tangled up in the briars.

These creek and river boars we've been chasing are gettin smarter and smarter..they know exactly were the thickest stuff is and go to it quick

He new exactly where he was goin, thats wild it was like the dogs didnt even chase him in there he got where he wanted to be and put up the fight. These runnin boars are deffinately gittin smarter and smarter. Jake plays on the D-line for us and ive had a double handful of people come up and tell me that also play for Hardin Simmons, how he has been tellin the story and how it does get pretty wild. Theres no better feeling than gittin a non hunter into the sport
