first off make sure your heart worming regime is in full effect, the mosquitos are the vector that relays the heartworm into the dog, second go to a local feedstore and get their opinion.

cutter yard spray from lowes or walmart...covers 5000 square feet and lasts about a month...usually long enough to where the mosquitos die down...might need two bottles...I usually spray the dogs with it too and make sure to get the kennels and the dog houses...

I sprayed everything yesterday with the Cutters Backyard Bug Control. I use the one you hook to a garden hose. I mist the kennels good. Ceiling, slab, inside houses, etc. Then I spray the ground outside all around the kennel as far as the hose will reach, about 150 ft. I also spray the dogs down with a product called Flea Halt from Tractor Supply. It has citronella in it and it works well for mosquitoes.

I make sure to get all my yard and go about 20 ft. past it on the south side...make sure to spray the corners of the wooden fence, the outside walls on the house...do not spray the glass cause it will stain for about 6 months...unless they have improved the formula...and like Jimco said...all the kennels, ceiling, roof walls, dog houses...everything...and like I said earlier...I spray the dogs lightly with it too....
