I hope that this community will come out and support the BSDHA for this hunt.  The BSDHA is very vigilant and fights hard for all dog hunters rights in Louisiana, so we need to show how much we appreciate them by getting out and participating in their events.  More importantly the proceeds will go to the Lions Camp, which is a summer camp for handicap children.  Now lets get as many teams as we can to sign up for the tournament so that we can help as many children as possible enjoy their summer.   This is a wonderful cause and a win-win situation for everybody, so please make plans to either hunt in the tournament, make donations to the Lion's Camp, and or come out and participate in the baying and the weigh ins.

Thank you fellas, but it was a team effort and my team members have some SERIOUS DOG POWER!!!  We set out to catch about 2,000lbs because the money from the live hogs was going to the Lion's Camp and Cole McVeay, Alan Sullivan, Justin Jones and myself worked are tails off to catch that amount.  We caught 26 hogs, brought in 24, but only 9 liived through the heat, but we still had 1,568lbs that was bought by Cutter Creek and that added a nice little chunk of change to the benefit fund.  I personally am very grateful to have such wonderful team mates that did not mind sacrificing their valuable time to do this hunt for the children of the Lion's Camp.

Now as for the other teams I was very impressed with Beckwith Creek, Charlie Canterberry's team and Ronnie and Chris Von Zindah for their sporstman ship and competitive drive.  As for the other teams, that called us cheaters even after our teams passed the polygraph I am very disappointed in, but that is just how it goes.  Other than that I will continue to support any organization that fights for our rights as dog hunters and gives to the children that are our future.

I also want to thank Roger Patton and Corey Tharpe with Cutter Creek Outfitters for their hard work and letting the BSDHA use their facilities.  It isnt easy to host these things, but they still keep making good bay trials and hog hunting experiences for everyone to enjoy in our community.
