My buddy got a call thursday morning by a lady saying they had a hog coming up into their backyard. We had planned on going to check the place out. Loaded up about 6:30 with two bay dogs and two bulldogs just cause we happen to see anything. We showed up they said the hog had been chasing the kids the night before when they were shooting fireworks. I always like to ask how big they thought he was just for some crazy answer and was told 600-800#  We walked around looking for sign and found a few real good tracks by a woodpile. Looked up about 75 yards in a railroad bed could see the tall grass moving and could see the hogs back..we ran back to the truck and grabbed the bulldogs. We walked them as close as we could and turned them loose. Wrestled around for a little bit then got him flipped and hobbled. Went 308# on the scale |

Real nice one right there. Anybody else noticied more listed hogs lateley? Seems the last few boars/barrs ive caught were listed..
