I tell yal what we put the dogs on the ground around 830 drove around looking for fresh tracks with the rain today I put penny on em she took it in 300 hundred into so Nasty thick stuff and she went to bawling we dumped the rest of the dogs to her try get there and go to grunting we get in there send the catchdogs n they flat out got whooped by this big ole red bo hog I mean to tell ya dogs where getting hammered on pretty good finally the pig broke n ran n the dogs took him a mile or so and could never get him stopped sober finally called em off decide we are gonna try a new spot get there dump the dogs out n I noticed penny limping and i tell You what she was swelled up from the foot all the way to her hip! This is the 3rd time this summer she has been bit and one of my other dogs has been bit this year! This is hands down the worst snake summer ever yal keep them eyes on where your stepping they are bad bad this year! Thank god for dex will save an ole dogs life from being snake bitten

Man that aint good.  You might want to ck into that Venom shot they got at the vets if the snakes are that bad man that cant be good to keep getting bite like that.

 I feel ya. We have had some bad hunts this year too. The other day we stopped to look at a hog crossing into a rice field and James dang near stepped right on top of a stump tail and never saw him. Justin Corbell was with us and he was right behind James and at first glance he said that he thought it was a cow patty and then he remembered that there aint no cows out there.  Shocked

Dang that's crazy I will not hunt with out wearing my snake boots any more I have already seen way to many snakes about to weeks ago my hunting buddy stepped dead on a copperhead going to the bay and didn't even know till I almost stepped right on it and stepped back it was crazy! I have had 4 get bit this year luckily I have caught it during the hunt everytime so luckily I have not had to deal with it splitting the skin

True story! Im glad i pulled my head outta my rear...i almost stepped on it myself.....cows in corn milo and rice fields lol.....that would be worse than the darn hogs!!!
