Has anyone ever used an Am staff for a catch dog if so how did they do?

i never have but i know a guy that has he had his on blood line of them for a while the only blood he has left of them is a half am staff half dogo gyp ive hunted her she catches good ive seen lots of pictures of hogs he caught with his staffs

I have one that is ukc registered as an apbt but all of his history is am staff he's a good solid catch dog I think with ukc u can register as either one but dogs in his ped are am staff

Yes he's a goid hard hitting dog catches great he started hisself when he broke into the hog pen and caught the hog I had in there lol his first hunt was in the,marsh down in Venice La went straight to the bay and caught about a 225# sow ever since he's been catching great

My yeller dog just caught a 250 plus hog I was pretty suprised... If I ever find out how to post pics on here I will....

I hve a yella Gyp lol never caught a hog or got real gritty tell today when I wa working her she straight up caught my 180lb sow

If she is used to working that hog she may be used to it and feels comfortable enough to catch it

If she can catch any pig off gaurd she usually catches or gets gritty but she ain't never caught this one lol
