Long story short, but I went hunting the other day and when I got home that night I realized I had set my extra tracking collars I wasn't going to use on the back of my trailer. The next morning at first light, I re-traced my path and unbelievable found all three at different points along the highway. Unfortunately, two of three had been run over and had some damage.
I've called Garmin and got a RMA number to send them in for repair. My question is...since the DC30's are no longer in production will I still receive a DC30 back or will it be something else? Has anyone sent a 30 in recently?

Thats because there refurbished. Garmin fixes what was broke on the inside of the collar put a new antenna, housing, and collar. Thats why they look brand new

The two times I sent my stuff to garmin there was hardly any turn around.
The first time was right around Christmas and it took 1 1/2 weeks.
I just sent some collars back about 2 months ago and I sent them off on a Friday and had them sitting at my door the next Friday.

Rd the phone number is posted above,.....as for cost,....I sent a 40 back a few months ago and it cost me $89 I think it was to get a refurbished sent back. It didn't take long at all either. Call them and they'll head you in the right direction.

Have to give credit where credit is due to Garmin.
Shipped by busted up collars out on the 12th, and received two new / refurbished ones back on the 20th. Pretty fast turn-around.

You don't know how true that statement is. It's not a hunt unless I tear something up or loose something.
