I like!  My father in law was down there to with his little custom go cart and 48 olds.  That is always a good show to go to.  I really like that 55 and I like 55's better than 57's, that one is done RIGHT!

Is it a go kart that he and his father built years ago?  I saw one with a note about how long ago the go kart was built, just don't recall the details.

Larry (Mandi's dad)  also shows a 1933 Ford, all original. Many best in show awards on that car.  Then his other hot rod is a 1935 Plymouth.  I don't have any good pics of either of those cars.  This past year, he sold a couple of 40's Buicks, one was a chop top, both needed restoration. Some guy drove out from California to pick them up.

I wanted to restore an old Chevy pickup about 5 years ago, but I don't have the $$$ to do one right. Lots of 6 figure cars at the autorama...

Yeah it is a little red go cart with a number 5 on it I think.  His dad built the whold thing out of wrecked car fenders and hoods etc.  It is a neat little deal they have there since they restored and show it just like it was a real car haha.  I like to look at the car auction as well, there used to be some real nice all original cars run through there.

I sat and watched the car auction for an hour or better. Had to sit on my hands, as there was a nice 1957 Chevy truck, that went for too cheap!  There was also a 1974 FJ40 landcruiser that I would have loved to have. I did not wait for it to run through the sale. It would seem to me that the auction at the autorama would be a good place to get a nice car for a reasonable dollar amount. With the prices some were bringing, they had to be taking a huge hit in the wallet.

Slim,

Larry has plenty of toys...some for the streets, some for the woods.  For hunting, he has something right up your alley, a Sami. I think he has replaced the wheels since this photo.

Sweet little rigs, going to have to get me another motor built and installed into mine one of these days.
All it takes is time and money, both of which I seem to be short on. :'(

True story...

Mandi has this damn goat she called Khabrito (forgive the egyptian spelling, it's a long story), he lived in the back yard when she lived at home.  One day he is working on a show car, he goes inside for a bit, and when he came back outside, the damn goat was walking around on top of the car Shocked   To top it all off, the goat lived Grin   They ended up putting the goat on a chain when her dad was working on cars in his shop.
