I've searched previous post on mange. I brought home a puppy Saturday that had a small crusty bald spot on his head Well since it has spread and also showed up on 4 other young pups that have come in contact with him. Being these pups are from different litters it should be sarcoptic mange correct. Being red mange is genetic. All pups have been given ivomec and have also been drenched with prolate. How often should I drench them? How long before spots start to heal?

Use Prolate /Lintox-HD mixed 1 oz. per gallon of water. Wet a rag and make sure to wet skin thoroughly on all your dogs twice a week for 3 weeks. In between treatments get a tube of Nu-Stock. Squeeze the entire tube into a large squirt bottle. Cut the NU-Stock with baby oil until it can be squirted through the bottle . Spray all crusty spots and/or sores with the Nu-Stock. Also mix up some prolate in a sprayer and spray kennels, houses, flooring, etc. They should be cleared up in a month or so.
