bulldog has her upper right canine about out. It looks to be the whole tooth and not just the tip. It is hanging out by the gum. Should I try to pull it off?

not sure how it happened. Should I let it come out on its own or should I pull it out and put her on anti-bio for a few days? It wouldnt be hard to pull it my self. It is just hanging on.

Same thing happened to my bulldog Buddy, I tried to pull it out but couldn't, plus I was scared I was gonna do permanent damage too.

I took him to a vet and they charged me 250 bucks for that one tooth that was hanging on by a thread... Shocked, and from what I can tell all they did was dope him, cut it, and that's it.

So if you can pull it out I would. lol

dont pull it out, ace him or use some sort of drug to sedate him then cut it out, dont pull it out. then give them some tramadol for pain (cheap), or rimadil (pain/anti inflammatory) if you can afford it.

I had the sme thing happen to one of mine. Whole top canine (root and all) was hanging by the gums on one side. I was able to stick the root back in the hole. And I fed him can dog food for over a month but the next hog he caught knocked it out for good. So the best thing to do is to remove it, let him heal and try him with 3 teeth.

i order my stuff to my house, but my mom is a vet so if you got in good with a vet they will usually hook you up with stuff like that at cost. ACE really is not the best thing to knock a dog out but it is very convenient and easy to get. rimadil is expensive around $80 for a small bottle of 7 chewable pills at 75 mg each and dosed at around 1mg/pound of dog but it helps with pain and is also an anti inflammatory. tramadol is cheap but is not an anti inflammatory, only helps with the pain, it coast i think $28 for 1000 pills, cant remember the dosing off the top of my head. Ace comes in pills or liquid/ injectable but you can shoot the injectable into a dogs mouth, usually the injections are just for horses. Ask the vet about the dosing on that because it ranges and every vet has their opinion on it.
