Got my hunting license today and was reading the new rules and it says you can use silencers to hunt game animals now. That is interesting lol.

they actually lessend the restrictions on the application . if you have a clean record it won't be a problem getting the paper work done . alot of the night hunters that shoot hogs have been using them for a long time .

$200 tax stamp, 3-6 months wait for the atf to process paperwork and ya gotta hush hush. The only bad thing is that once you own a class 3 item, you loose all rights to privacy. The atf can come in your house w/o a warrent and pilfer through your weapons, even those that dont require a tax stamp

I don't like anything that is almost hinky. I don't want to be on a list bad enough to want to be quiet. Now if you want to go ahead and knock yourself out. I ain't telling anybody not to do something that is legal. I figure I like to be left alone. So I stay away from things that let people bother me.
But I do find that very interesting.

I may be on a few lists But I don't want anyone having the right to come in my home. If they want in just call and ask. Don't just show up at my door.

If they want to come in your home... They are coming in. They will make a reason.

as long as they get/have a warrent. they want to do it by the law, then by all means come in, sit and have a glass of water and look everything over. i aint got nothing to hide, but they will NOT do end run around their laws they are task to uphold, not brake or ignore

That is what I am saying Charles. If they just ask nicely and I will let them look away. I do not break laws on purpose except maybe the speed limit every now and then and then not by much. I don't bend laws either. I don't like worrying about getting in trouble. But that said I don't like rude law enforcement. Like I said just ask nicely and I may just let you look. If you ask about any gun I will gladly show them. If they think I am hiding a gun bring a metal detector and don't make a mess. Then everyone is happy. But come charging in and being rude I will be rude right back. Now if I think I am being lied to I may want a lawyer there when you look but as long as they are polite I will be polite right back.
BTW when I encounter law enforcement for the most part they are very nice and I have not had any problems in a long time. So just be nice and it pays.
