My wife went shopping and picked up this 50 lb bag of kalkan dog food I have never heard of it and wanted to see if anyone ever used it?

man thats an old line of dogfood,havent seen it in dry but they was real popular in the wet can feed

Yea. That was a big name brand in the 60's ,, i may be mistaken, but wasnt a part of the General Foods bunch?. Also had Kennel Ration from that time period. Down in Alabama, we had Jim Dandy dog ration ,,showin my age, there were a few more big ones from that era, i remember one was a sponsor for all the quail hunting publication, dang, can see it, but cant exactly recall it"s name

Hahaha....well Mike, it seems that I too am brainlocked on that dog food brand myself,....I can see the bag it came in but I can't recall the name at all.  |
