Yesterday mornin we took off and went huntin shortly after the sun came up. We get back where I knew there was a bunch of sign and cut the dogs loose. We put our dogs down and waited there.  Here shortly the oldest most experienced dog and a pup comes back to the Ranger one goes under it and the other climbs up in the seat. I was lost I had never saw the older dog do this before. Then another seasoned dog shows up trying to get in the Ranger.  I'm real confused at this point so I stand up and watching the way they came from and hear a dog kinda booger bark a couple times  then he flys in and jumps in the ranger he has got two coyotes hot on his tail. Soon as they saw us they took off the other direction but I thought it was pretty cool.

I've had a couple run ins with yotes recently, one ending with my catahoulas baying one up in some brush and taking turns whoopin the fire out of it until I shot it. The other the yote was following one of my young dogs and trying to.get in front of her until he looked up and was right on top of us in a bottom, couple pop shots at him later and he wanted no part of us
