Talked to one of the guys putting this on(Darren) about a week or so ago, and he sent this flyer and asked me to get the word out. If you have any questions, please call him or Justin Bounds(Owner of Caney Creek Lodge).

Maybe I can talk the rest of Team Hog Wranglers into gearing back up for another tournament....lol

I hope some more of y'all will enter this contest. It is a weigh in of dog caught hogs! They can be caught anywhere that you hunt, you just have to haul them to Teague to weigh them in each day, and they must be ALIVE. I hunted with a couple of local hunters in a similar benefit contest hosted by these same boys a few months ago, and they got bent sideways when we won it, so they added the polygraph this time! Wish they would have had it then, to shut up the doubters! They claimed that some of our hogs were not dog caught since only one of the sows had really chewed up ears! Guess they like to watch there catch dogs chew-up hogs or they have to work up the COURAGE to catch those good size hogs. That contest was only 5 hogs weighed in on Sunday, ours being 1181 pounds, second place ~1020 pounds and third place ~930 pounds! We had a good place to hunt outside of Buffalo and we tied 21 hogs the first day, and 9 on Sunday morning at another place! It will definitely be different this time since it will be soo hot, which could really benefit you night hunters. Good luck to everyone, and remember it is a benefit!

Then Marshall, Broussard, Kyle-Wayne and I will be on a team. Hopefully some of yall can come join us, it'll be a good time. Good luck to Everyone!!! True story about them catching 30 head for that weekend!

HAHA Chris, I know better than that! You're probably gathering a pack of 50 strike dogs as we speak.  :'(

You can have 500 strike dogs...if you don't have the hogs to hunt (good places) you are spittin in the wind.  Cool

Marshall,

Someday soon I want to go hunting with your crew. I want to catch so many in one day that I am tired of tying and cutting hogs...I'll even leave my trashy dogs at home.  Shocked

Matt - Youre preaching to the choir about huntin good spots. Most of my places MIGHT have one track. Its when we get invited to new places with calm hogs is when we get big numbers. Gotta love those!

Chris - Yeah I want you too also! We need to line one up after this weekend.
