The weather here has cooled off a bit. I can actually work my dogs without them having a stroke!!!! Was so excited feeling the weather thias mornin I had to share! LOL!

It's 70 here right now....supposed to hit 88 today. Which is funny because from the usual high 90's - 100 we have here, that's SUCH a big difference!

It sure has made it easier on me and my hands moveing and rigging up my rig. I just wish I was home so I could hit the woods and catch a hog while it's cool.

Yes, God is very good!!!! BUT I think it's too funny how everything just starts coming together right before a lot of people have to lay up because of deer hunters. LOL!

This summer was one of the most miserable summers I can remember in South La.  The humidity was just unbearable.

Yes, it is good.  I ran over 70 miles last week  ...  and the weather on Sunday was awesome.

On Sat I spoke with a Sheriff and he told me that on Friday at the Farm & Ranch Club on Hwy 6 in Houston, it was so hot that they had 6 animals die, including a steer, a cow and a hog.

One other contrast occurred to me.  On Friday I ran 11 miles.  I sweated out 13 lbs, which is 1.6 gallons.

On Sunday, after the front, I ran 9 miles and probably didn't sweat out 2 lbs.

This same thing happens to your dogs.  BTW, both runs started at 5am, so it wasn't like they were in the middle of the day.  This cool front has been wonderful.  Enjoy yourself hunting in it.
