Never hunted with any, but the Catdo's that Mr. Mason has produced in the past have had exceptional builds to them, the number one coming to mind was his Lex dog.

Sir, I have a Mason Catdo named Mercedes. Been owned by several on this board I guess. She was six when I got her and is nine now I guess. I only use her for training now. After a few months of getting to know each other she became one of my smartest dogs. Will find her own hogs and catch. Range is short (100-300yds) maybe a little more. Perfect for the area I hunt and an old fat guy. You better own a break stick or stay home with her. She hunted best two out and with my red cur/pit cross female. Was always the leader and by far the smartest of the two. Not as strong as my Bully/dane but equally as smart. If I had a few dogs just like her I would need no other for the hunting I do. My opinion, nothing else and your mileage may vary.   John
