sorry i cant post pics but i got a dove with my bow today at 28 yards around my grandmas pond  no it wasnt flying.... it took me about 3 shots at other doves before i got this one. was using judo points so i didnt loose any arrows i would of gotten more but it was almost to dark anyway. i feel pretty accomplished!! and i didnt waste any meat neither!!

lol good job . i remember when i shot a crow on the fly with my recurve and a target point . i bragged on that shot for about 20 years lol good thing i had witnesses because the proffesional deer hunters will call you a liar on them shots lol hell it ain't my fault they cant shoot a deer at 20 feet standing still eatin corn lol

They make or used to make these weird clover leaf things for arrows to shoot birds with. I can hit what I'm aiming at most of the time but a dang bird I aint never tried lol.

i hit a squirrel mid jump once. i had to dodge the arrows comin back down for a while before i got lucky. how did you cook it? i wrap mine in bacon and jalapeno peppers

I slit each side of the breast plate and stuff cream cheese with a slice of pepper then on the grill man I love me some dove lol.

colt i remember them tips . i dont know if they still make em or not . i tried a couple once but they didn't shoot very true i soon dumped em .

Since I have never foolled wwith cooking a dove I I just topknot all the feathers off. Then cut the breast meat out. did those tips have 3 or 4 cable or wire loops? I think they're called snaro.

Yes that is what were and you had to shoot them with a slower bow like recurve for them to stabilize or that was my experience
