Had a buddy come up from the RGV yesterday that wanted some hog meat, so we loaded up and headed out.  We made a few weltys and zero,  came up to a big water hole and my buddies old Bmc was on the box and started whinnying so I cut him loose.  He took my 3 dogs with him and .63 later they all showed treed.  We hauled butt to them and got to 87yrds and turned off the truck, the hog heard us coming and tried to break but my female Cat/Pit and my buddies Bmc tried to catch so he stopped again, we cut CDs loose and they sealed the deal.  I got there and legged him and my buddies son stuck him.  My Cat/Pit and the Bmc took some bad cuts and pokes but were ok.  We started loading dogs and doctoring right away, loaded up and went to camp.  Put him on the scale and he weighed 195 and seamed like he had an inch and a half of fat on him.  His teeth weren't that big but were the kind that are real pointy and sharp.  Had a good time and put some meat on the table.

I caught a listed hog about the same size that had a tail like that and no terth. He had teeth but like a half inch long and had a razor back, and a dang long nose like an ol piney woods rooter. But i dont live in east texas. One of his parents must hav been some kids 4-H project lol

Yeah guys he sure isn't the usual boar we catch down here,  I don't think I've ever caught 1 with as much hair as this 1 had.
