My handheld keeps zooming out to the entire U.S. everytime I hit the map button. Its done this since I've had it, bout a year now. It didn't use to bother me too bad but its really getting on my nerves now. I've been through every menu on the thing I can find and can't make it stop. Anybody else had this problem and know how to fix it?

i think they intentionaly put a kink in em that shows up around the time they come out with new one lol, i had a 320 i sold it and went back to my 220, i got a buddy that got the alpha spent a small fortune for the hand held and all new collars, and hes no happier with it than he was the 220 except the shock collar part of it he does really like that, but im just sticking with the 220 if you go to the garmin website it may help you out some,

My did the same thing when I first got it... it was set to "zoom to dogs".

Chainrated helped me out on that one...

The 320 has so many settings, you just have to play with it to work how you like it.

I like mine a lot more than the 220.

I really like the birds eye view and I also like the distance being shown beside each dog while on the map screen. I hated jogging back and forth between screens on the 220.

I don't even remember now. I'll look at it after while and let you know.

I do know I was cussing the hell out of it when I first got it... just a bunch of little triangles moving around the screen.

Thanks Mike. I'll have to try that. I wouldn't trade my 320 for for a 220. The birdseye alone makes it worth the upgrade, and i keep finding cool stuff everytime I use it
