I've been reading about some dog kennels here and there; I am just about finished with mine.  I have 8 kennels that are 4' x 8'.  I am going to build one more 8' x 10' for a puppy kennel.  I am also going to add a couple of solar lights and call it done.  Here are a couple of pics.

Ben, You know I have some dogs to fill them with.  These plotts will be glad to get off the chains and back in kennels.

Thanks for the compliments.  Yes the concrete is slopped.  If I remember correctly it had a 1 on 12 slope.  I Have a two foot apron all the way around with a steeper slope for run-off.

Im not sure how long they will last, but I dont plan on replacing them anytime soon.  The last set of kennels I had were constructed in a similar fashion and they held up very well.  I built them 6 years ago and they still look the same as they did when I built them.

I bet you came out cheaper that way too , rather getting them made of steel or buying some ?

Buying the square tubing and welding was just too much.  I like the pressure treated wood and it was easy to do ny myself.
