Talked to a guy I respect in the hog dogging world and he and I had a interesting conversation.  A litter with more males than females the females will be quicker starting/ maturing a litter with more females the males will be quicker starting/maturing.  Only had a couple litters but seems to be somewhat a coincidence and somewhat true.  My pit/ridges there were more females than males the males are starting well same with a pup I got from him. The last pup I got from him there were more  males and my male was slower starting.  Would like some of yalls in put on this as I have only had a couple litters.
