I got a call Monday night from a lease holder in my area that wanted to try out hog doggin, so we set it up for last night and made went hunting.  Me not knowing the pasture told him to take me where he thought was a good place to start.  I had 4 newbies with me so was honoring to make a good impression for the future.  A whole 10 minutes into the hunt the dogs open up 120 yards right down the road we were on.  I cut CDs loose but dogs were caught before they got there, I legged him and the 1st one up was the guy who called me.  I told him where to stick and he dispatched the hog quick. A nice 240lbs boar for his 1st time out, we was pumped.  My dogs hadn't been out in awhile and they felt frisked I guess cus I had 3 dogs cut right off the bat.  Hunted awhile longer and caught 2 good sows and called it a night around 11pm.  We got back to camp and he wanted a shoulder mount so I caped the hog for him and started doctoring dogs.  We had a great hunt and I have a new customer every 2 weeks that they come down now.  Hopefully I have some more good luck tonight cus a have another paid hunt on another place.
