All I shoot is a 223. I have other rifles but prefer the 223. Never lost anything with it.

I use a smith an wesson ibolt.25-06 that I really like. Used a 7mm08 in youth model growing up that put a bunch down. Fiancee uses a 7mm08 as well. But for when I really just want to put the hammer on em I break out my FN SPR a1.308 if something feels the need to step in front of it there is no question as to if its getting hit. I'll post a pic need to take a good one anyway.

.243, 7mm-08, and 308. 243 is my truck gun and I shoot a lot of does (dogs need training). For bucks, the bigger caliber a get the call

Used a 270 Win. Browning A-Bolt for about 14 years and love that rifle. But I don't think the caliber is all that important.....using a quality bullet and placing it correctly is what kills the game in my opinion.

Savage .270 Never lost a deer with it unless I just missed em. Been shooting it for 12 years and put a lot of deer down with it. Longest kill was a little over 300 yds.

My lil bro shot a doe at 75 yards with 243 75 grain ballistic tip exit wound went through the breast plate and left a hole the size of ur fist. But it still ran about two hundred yards. Looked like u just poured blood out of a five gallon bucket. But for the rush I like a bow.

Ar chambered in 5.56/.223 or Remington 700 chambered in .308. Neck or head shots. Don't like to track them or mess up meat!
