For sale...... 3yr old full blood male bluetick.
Open on trail..... Has found his own hog.... Have had him sound off before seeing hog on me once....Medium to long range hunter, will go out on his own.... Seems to be cattle and trash broke.....Leggy but S_L_O_W_....At bay every time and gritty, but not in pen....Hunts nose on ground (not a sight hunter).....Does not seem to have a cold nose.....Dog aggressive, maybe, he does not get along with my lead strike dog (that is not dog aggressive) but does get along with my other dog's.....My opinion he has a soft mouth for a hound....
Above experience with this dog is from about six hunts. I bought him three months ago for 300.00 and I am going to take a loss on him. He is my first hound and I do not like him. I hunt in west Texas so it may just be the way I hunt. Dog is located in Snyder TX, close to Abilene. I feel like he could make someone that nose hounds a good dog. I would like to get something back for him so open to trades or offers.
Will get pictures this afternoon and can email then.....
