separate her before she has her pups...if not she will get nervous around the other dogs and she will swallow her new born pups...she needs to be away from other dogs when she has her pups...at some point in time she will allow the other dogs around her pups...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

I separate my gyps from other dogs. I have one that will mess a dog up for coming around her pups.

I believe it depends on the gyp and if they have had pups before or not the last litter of pups I had I had the jip and the male dog in the same pen but I knew the dogs if I thought there would have been a problem I would have separated them but if you have the slightest doubt I would separate
