First let me say I have used plenty of off breeds for hog dogging so I’m not a purest. Heck I hunt with dogs out of sport protection lines but the breed isn’t naturally human aggressive. Filas are good dogs just wouldn’t think they would make good hunting dogs. "OJERIZA" is a trait Filas are supposed to carry which translates to “have a grudge against” or “sharp aversion” and it is used in conjunction with “towards strangers”.
In my personal humble opinion (backed with a sport protection background) it is the most naturally aggressive predominant breed. I believe one can get a dog to act out of its nature or genetic code but there is no chance for harm watching a bulldog compete in dock diving or a grey hound out treeing coon. But to finish if a pointer’s genetic code misfires he points at a tree stump for no reason where as the 200-pound fila eats your visiting cousin out on a hunt.
It's NEVER a good thing when something eats your cousin out on a hunt
