Was goin thru old old pics of our family with my aunt n came across one with dogs so I had to post. It was fun going thru all the old pics seein who was shiners n true pioneers n all the indians I didn't even know about. 

Also it made it better sippin some strawberry moonshine Wink

I wished I knew the story behind those dogs.  Surley the weren't just a pet

My guess is that the frog will be an appetizer,followed by the donkey for a main course and finished off with a few of those dogs for dessert.

Nice pic! I love old pics I have couple of my grandpa in Mexico talk about a real cowboy .....he used to tell me stories bout real ranches that had 1000 cowboys working on the ranch..I loved his stories.

That picture is dad gum awesome my man. Love seeing the oldies.  Look like a set of running walkers treeing that frog. 

Cannot go back that far but can throw up some running walkers from our heritage.

My mother and grandfather with their string of yote dogs. Early 50's

Found out from my g aunt opal that they ran bear deer possum coon or whatever with these dogs ate n fed dogs with everything caught.  Trashy dogs but I guess they made their purpose as a worker
