My buddy invited me to his place to hunt. We got to the woods around 5:30 and shot the $hit for awhile before dropping the dogs around 6:15. I brought my Fl Curs Zipper, Gator, and my catchdog Clyde. My buddy let me drop my dogs first. We traveled around 1/2mi when the dogs pulled out in a thick briar laced swamp. Heard my Gator dog chop a couple times and heard a fight then a splash into the water. Gator was baying and fighting the hog in the water, Zipper relayed to him as we worked are way through the briars. We finally made it to the waters edge and cut Clyde to them to seal the catch. Waded into the water and drug a nice fat sow to the bank. Took some pics and let her go.

Lead the dogs out of the swampn about 250yds and cut them lose again. The dogs took off and were split about 300 yds out. We rounded a marsh pond and was checking the Garmin when we heard a hog run by us about 60yds grunting. Checked the Garmin to see where the dogs were and Gatorwas coming fast towards the direction the hog went and stopped it about 150 yds from us with Zipper on his trail. We got with in 60yds and sent Clyde to them to catch. Had another nice sow. Took some pics and cut her loose.

Loaded up my dogs and my buddy dropped his dogs. They jumped a few but never got one stopped. Called it a night and was home by 9:00. Good quick hunt!!
