Just some pics from the last month or so.  The pic of the garmin was taken yesterday, and no the collar wasn't on a dog in the back of a truck.  The collar name says JoJo but it was on my cowdogs.  Okie and Cowgirl. We had allready covered 25 miles prior to finding 5 cows. Found them right before dark, by the time they settled it was dark.  I ended up darting some of them because i can't take a chance of anything getting away.  First time i shot off this horse , and first time i ever fired a gun around these dogs.  When i shot they would back off then after a little "he, he, he" they would go right back to em.  My intention was to just medicate to calm and pen em, but the first cow layed down and didn't wanna get up.  So i went ahead and tied her.  Ended up haveing cattle tied everywhere.  Really proud of these dogs and my horse.  As I roped and tied everything in the dark, only by the moonlight.  Dogs stayed on em from about 5:30 to 11:00 in the dark.  Had to go get the backhoe from the shop to move the cattle out to the roads.  Luckily i have a winch in my trailer to pull em in when their tied and sleepy.  Woulda been some good pics.

I went to help a friend out this day who wanted to dart some 450-750# calfs. I darted 9 calfs for him that day. He thought that my rig worked out pretty nicely.  Theres 5 tied in the picture.
