I've got a good bud I hunt with that's from Wagga Wagga New South Wales in Aussie land and he's got me crossin like they do over there and we are gunna do some experimenting and hard culling to see if we can mimic his bullarabs over there, these are the start to the cross 1/2 leopard cat 1/2 German short haired pointer... Then the next step will be puttin a grey hound or Dane over one gyp then another we are gunna put a leggy pit over and see what we get

That pup in the top pic looks a nice type mate. What style of dog are you hoping to archive by these joinings. Sounds interesting & i hope it works out for you.

I may be howled down but I think you are missing a key ingredient - aussie dogs you mention get "bull" blood from from english bull terrier. I know they are harder to get over there but I think there are advantages to doing this.

1.  The head shape of the english suits the crossing to the pointer / greyhound, pups heads are more consistent and not as boxy.

2.  In my opinion the english bully adds a very good nose....

3.  I don't think you need more than 1/4 bull blood.

what part of australia do you boys hunt? You wouldnt happen to know Cody or Rhys Angland would you? they are real good people i believe i was born on the wrong continent because the stories and the way these boys carry themselves and their work ethics is hard to find around here. the ride pretty rank in the PRCA over here thats how i met them and now hunt and keep their dogs when they have to go home..

Dont Know these fellas personally but have heard of them. There from Gundagi, Wagga wagga way. I'm in the same state as these fellas (NSW) from around Sydney way.I have a block i hunt just south from where them fellas are from...... Tumut, Wee-jasper. All hard mountain country, thick hard wood some pine & gullys choked with blackberries.
