Got a call from Monty just as i was leaving work wanting me to come help take a couple newbies hunting in Graham. So i loaded up my stuff and hauled ass and met up with Monty, Fonzie, and wagandtag. Then Headed out to the ranch.

Started out throwing Monty's cane dog on the hood and I had My Tuff and Tiger dogs winding out of the Ranger  and started making our way through the place towards were the land owner had been corning some roads. We got to the corn and Monty tells me to put Tiger on the Ground and head dropped cane and we just eased them down the road. It wasnt long before Tiger threw his head up and headed out to about 670 yards and opened up on a big Sounder and Cane wasnt far behind him. These hogs were so loud you could hear them over the engines of the truck and to rangers from 600 yards. We drove in to 200 yards and sent three of Montys rough dogs and my Tuff. We heard caught hog and headed in i was headed to the squealing when i heard some grunting to my left and looked over to see Tuff and monty Triton dog caught on both ear of a big red boar hog so me and the group i had with me went to them and legged him while the the others went to another bla k boar about 100 lbs. Tiger rolled of and showed Treed for a about 10 min but ended up breaking him losing it or just coming back to us because of all of the squealing and noise of some happy first timers.

Tuff with some bright eyes

Tiger

We headed to another Ranch and Montys Cane dog ended up Striking another Hog and Tiger got to him Fast and both dogs were working him hard but just couldnt ever get him to sit down. He was just walking away on them right down the creek. After a long time and hearing the dogs get hit a couple times we new it was probably a pretty rough boar and We werent gaining any ground We decided to call it a night at 2:00 in the morning.

Thanks again for the invite Monty. I had a damn good time and really enjoyed the company of some good guys!
